Newly engaged pop-punk couple Avril Lavigne and MOD SUN recently shared a video on their social channels showing the pair dressed in all-pink-everything while celebrating a "pre-wedding wedding" during an outdoor gathering with friends.

Both Avril and her beau MOD SUN, who were recently engaged in France in front of the Eiffel Tower, shared what could only be considered an official music video of the pre-wedding celebration, highlighted by a soundtrack of Lavigne's single "Kiss Me Like The World Is Ending" from her 2022 album LOVE SUX.
Now known as one of the hottest couples in the pop-punk scene, the truth is their path to love was complicated. "I tried to resist it, hard," Avril admits. "The most I've ever tried to," she adds, but the connection was unstoppable. Avril and MOD SUN, real name Derek Smith, have been dating since 2021, after meeting in 2020 to work on new music together. They were engaged on March 27, 2022, in Paris, after Smith got down on one knee with a heart-shaped diamond ring in hand and Lavigne, said "yes."
