Netflix is preparing to release a new true crime series based on a violent crime at LA's Hotel Cecil. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel is set to debut on the streaming service on February 10th.
The miniseries comes from filmmaker Joe Berlinger (The Ted Bundy Tapes) and chronicles the 2013 disappearance of Canadian student Elisa Lam whose body was discovered in a water tank at the Los Angeles hotel.
This series comes after 'Night Stalker,' a true crime series that was recently released by Netflix that examines the pursuit of serial killer Richard Ramirez who terrorized LA in the 80s.
