Spacey artist and new mother to X Æ A-12 with Elon Musk, Claire Boucher, better known as Grimes, hopped on TikTok recently to share her thoughts on Artificial Intelligence.
Possibly a look into the deep conversations she has with her beau, or perhaps the little elf who lives in her sock drawer, Grimes wondered aloud on the video-sharing platform about the role A.I. can have on the future of society.

"I have a proposition for the communists," she began. "So, typically most of the communists I know are not big fans of A.I. But, if you think about it, A.I is actually the fastest path to communism."
In a series of follow-up posts, Grimes went on to explain how she feels Artificial Intelligence, "if implemented correctly can actually theoretically solve for abundance. We can totally get to a situation where nobody has to work, everybody is provided for in a comfortable state of being..." She adds, A.I. can bring on "genuine equality" by [automating] all the farming," which would "weed out systematic corruption." Grimes put a period on her thoughts by explaining with an eye-roll, "so basically, everything everybody loves about communism but without the collective farm ’cause, let’s be real, enforced farming is really not a vibe."
"Grimes making tiktoks about communism while married to elon musk… i cannot," was the general consensus from commenters. It is odd, being that she is with one of the richest men on the planet and is espousing the benefits of the collective sharing of wealth. But, you know. "vibes."
Grimes, who became a new mom in mid-2020 and has been dipping her toes into Viking hairstyling with her son, revealed she "weirdly enjoyed" COVID in early 2021, and scooped up $6 million in just 20 minutes selling crypto art a few months back. She also shared an intricate back tattoo in April that she says will resemble “alien scars,” once it’s healed. So, honestly, why would anyone question what she decides to post about? Make the ruling classes tremble, girl.
