Following up his 2020 breakout EP how will i rest in peace if i'm buried by a highway?// and a string of kick a** singles, Wisconsin's own KennyHoopla and blink-182's Travis Barker have collected their recent work together for SURVIVORS GUILT: THE MIXTAPE//.
Music fans bitten by either the pop-punk, post-punk, Emo, or Screamo bugs over the years should prepare to have every single itch thoroughly scratched by the collection which spans just 20 minutes and 44 seconds of absolute perfection.

Featuring the previously released singles "estella//" and "hollywood sucks//," the "mixtape," which in all regards can be considered an album, boasts another six tracks from the dynamic duo that deserve more than a few consecutive listens.
You'll be challenged to find a more authentic singer than Kenny on this release or any of his past offerings, who leaves you wondering what the hell everyone else has been singing about before he came along. Harmonies on top of harmonies for those looking for melody in their Punk rock; falsettos and screams to the sky for Emo fans, driving beats and blistering guitars for the rockers on the sidelines, and perfect storytelling rounds out this immaculate effort. For those who need an equivalent -- think back to Barker's post-blink project Box Car Racer.
Travis' drumming on this release is some of the most perceptibly emotional of his storied career, and that includes bands of his own making and all of those he's collaborated with over the years... not to mention his atomic clock timing that seems to get better and better with every release he's a part of.
