The Padres announced on Friday afternoon that Xander Bogaerts has been placed on the 10-day IL with a non-dislaced fracture in his left foot, after fouling a ball off of it in a recent game. Bogaerts has a .717 OPS with 10 home runs and 20 stolen bases so far this season. The Padres recalled Mason McCoy from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move.
