While another Dave Matthews Band summer tour might not come as a big surprise, the news of a brand new album sure is.

Set to crash into us on May 19, the 90s hitmakers and touring connoisseurs will drop their 10th studio album, Walk Around The Moon. The first single of which “Madman’s Eyes,” is out now.
A pandemic-bred project, Walk Around The Moon, follows their chart-topping 2018 album, Come Tomorrow, and is described as a “a reflection on the current times" and “an urge to find common ground.”
In addition to the album’s first single “Madman’s Eyes,” there are 11 other original songs including the title track, “Walk Around The Moon,” “Looking For A Vein,” “The Ocean And The Butterfly,” “It Could Happen,” “Something To Tell My Baby,” “After Everything,” “All You Wanted Was Tomorrow,” “The Only Thing,” “Break Free,” “Monsters,” and “Singing From The Windows.”
DMB plan to support the impending album with an expansive 2023 US tour. The U.S. part of the tour is set to kick off the same day as the album’s arrival in The Woodlands, Texas, following a trio of dates in Mexico.
As per the official press release announcement, “the headline run will include the band’s first show at the historic Forest Hills Stadium in New York on June 9.” Additionally the band “will play two-night stands in Wilmington, NC; Charleston, SC; Noblesville, IN; Chicago, IL; Gilford, NH; Saratoga Springs, NY; Camden, NJ; West Palm Beach, FL and Irvine, CA. Before the tour concludes with the band’s traditional three-day, Labor Day weekend celebration at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA (September 1-3)."
Tickets will go on sale to the general public and will be available here on February 17 at 10 AM local time.
