McDonald’s releasing Happy Meals for adults: toys included

McDonald’s is making it cool to be a kid again.

The fast food giant has announced a high profile collaboration with fashion and culture brand Cactus Plant Flea Market to reimagine the iconic Happy Meal, for adults!

The Cactus Plant Flea Market Box has been designed by the brand in its signature style to join forces with McDonald’s Golden Arches. They will be available Oct. 3 in the restaurant, drive-thru, via delivery, and on the McDonald’s App. Only around while supplies last.

The boxes will come with customer choice of a Big Mac or 10 piece Chicken McNuggets Meal. Each one will inlude one of four McDonaldland or Cactus Buddy! figurines, according to a press release.

The reimagined toys inside include: Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie, and the brand new Cactus Buddy!

“I can’t wait to give fans a unique piece of art and culture as we dive headfirst into the dynamic world of Cactus Plant Flea Market. This is another way we’re reigniting a new generation's love for our food and the brand,” said McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Tariq Hassan.

Grown up Happy Meals and new toys aren’t all the two companies are offering up. There’s merch as well.

Those who snag a box on the McDonald’s App will automatically be entered for the opportunity to receive exclusive merchandise for free, including Cactus Plant Flea Market x McDonald’s t-shirts, a Grimace chair, and more.

The items will also be available for sale Oct. 3 at 11am EST here, while supplies last.
