PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- NFL insider John Clayton is painting a bleak picture of the Antonio Brown trade market.
The Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans have shown the most interest in the disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, ESPN reported Friday evening. Craig Hoffman of 106.7 The Fan in Washington downplayed the idea of the Redskins as serious suitors. It may leave Jon Gruden's Raiders as the favorites.
"Zero percent chance the Raiders trade one of their three first-round picks," Clayton told "The PM Team with Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller" on Friday. "Looking like they'll get an early third-rounder for him."
Clayton added that the market for Brown picked up Thursday night, and he expects the Steelers will go over all their offers when they get back to Pittsburgh from the NFL Scouting Combine and make a second round of calls to the teams interested.
Clayton ventured a list of Brown's preferred destinations: San Francisco 49ers, Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos.
He said there's no chance the Packers give up their first-round pick, No. 30 overall, for Brown.
Brown, the four-time All-Pro, made his first extended public comments since requesting a trade last month on an episode of LeBron James' HBO show "The Shop" that aired Friday night.
Brown said there's "too much smoke" between him and the team for Brown to play for Pittsburgh in 2019. Brown said the team only labeled him a "distraction" after he started "doing his own thing."
"It's a controlled environment to where they could, they could kind of determine if, if they want to let me eat or not," Brown said on the show.
Brown also sat down for an extensive interview with ESPN's Jeff Darlington that aired Saturday in which he discussed his fractured relationship with the Steelers and with quarterback Ben Roethlisberg in particular.
"I don't take any blame," Brown told Darlington. "I just think I took responsibility for my situation. You know, I didn't point the finger, I didn't make no one look bad, I didn't throw no stones at anyone."
