Returning to the Bronx this Saturday, August 11th, is Bangon! NYC's Elements Music & Art Festival - celebrating it's 5th anniversary. Coming off an incredible 3-day camping festival over Memorial Day Weekend, Bangon! NYC looks to continue to build on their momentum creating must-see festival lineups mixed with immersive art, interactive installations, and technology that elevate their festivals from the ordinary.

With a lineup including bass music heavyweight Bassnectar and downtempo guru Emancipator fit meticulously into the Earth Stage, the the smooth energy of GoldFish and SNBRN command the Water Stage. California's very own Dirtybird Players with Justin Jay owns the Fire Stage, and the Air Stage hosts ethereal performances from risers like Dance Spirit (Live) and Lost Desert. The 32 artists across dubstep, house, funk, hip hop, and more have had music and festival fans salivating over the lineup, eager to dance the day away at the warehouse and silos of Hunts Point.

But the musical is just where the festival's lure starts. Drawing "lovers of quality music and art with a passion for exploring the latest in creative innovation" Elements NYC "curates an immersive experience unlike any other with 'Art of the Future' showcasing installations and technology-driven pieces from 14 artists."

More from Elements:

"Marpi will present a take on interactive, large-scale projection mapping using Kinect (a line of motion sensing devices), while photographer Jarid Blue will use human bodies as his canvas to project digital imagery. Utilizing mixed media, Justin Wood will combine projections with mirrors and fog, and LED sculptures by Orbism will pulse to attendees heartbeats. Rhizome will showcase stunning projection mapping using CNC design creating incredible textures and depth, meanwhile Seth Hosko & Dan Ragan will treat festival goers to an immersive audio and video sound experience."

But the art doesn't just stop with these installations. Any past Elements attendee can speak to the amazing decor of the festival, and this year is no different. The festival's creative team led has collaborated with 30 artists to transform the stark Hunts Point venue into an interactive playground begging to be explored. You'll find climbable structures, an alien garden, a dark cosmic peep show in a silo, the five art cars from Lakewood, a pirate ship and more.

"Numerous performers will roam the grounds including Team Kitty Koalition comprised of gogo and choreo dancers, stilt walkers, aerialists, fire, LED performers and thrilling over the top circus antics and jaw-dropping dance numbers with Fou Fou Ha." No festival would be complete without Big Kids Carnival Games presented by funtender Rawb Lane, and the awesome builds, tagging and body painting from the one and only Mastro.

Elements NYC has everything you could want in a festival packed into a single day in the heart of New York City. Doors open at 2p, and the music goes strong until 1a, so be sure to get your tickets, and see you there rain or shine.
