(WWJ) The I Love My Pets store in small-town Rockwood, Mich., issued a plea on social media for the safe return of their beloved ball python after the snake disappeared.
First, staff combed the store thinking their snake had someone been released from his cage and was lurking somewhere in the shop. Then they went to the security footage and saw it was even worse than that.
The footage showed a dark-haired man carefully removing the snake from his cage and stuffing him down his pants. Internet sources say the ball python is docile and likes to wrap around wrists. If provoked, they will bite.
