Kristina "Luca" Koppeser is the Brand Manager and Director of Digital for KYW Newsradio.

She first joined the station in July 2021 as the Digital Managing Editor.

She brings with her over a decade of experience in digital media, spent much of her career pioneering new roles across both news organizations and social platforms.

In 2017, Luca launched the Digital Curation Desk at Hearst Television, later taking on another brand new role leading the Amplify Team, where she managed production and digital distribution of national digital video content sourced from HTV’s dozens of local news stations. In addition to her work in digital video, she oversaw user generated content, and national social content through HTV brands Stitch and Very Local.

Prior to her time at Hearst Television, Luca was the inaugural curator on the Twitter Moments team, where she helped develop the product and curation standards for the U.S. and international launches of Moments. She has also overseen social media for Daily Mail U.S. and managed an editorial team at MTV.com

Offline, Luca loves to travel, spend time with her husband, son and dog, and is patiently waiting for the Yankees to win their 28th World Series. Don’t hold that last one against her.

Luca is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and a member of the Muhlenberg College Alumni Board.
