EVENT: Lunar New Year Lion Dance

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 12 p.m.

WHERE: Reading Terminal Market, 52 N. 12th St., Center City

DETAILS: The Philadelphia Suns return to Reading Terminal Market for a traditional lion dance to ring in the Lunar New Year.

PRICE: Free to attend

EVENT: Lunar New Year Celebration at Dim Sum House

DATE/TIME: Special menu runs until Feb. 13

Firecrackers and lion dance Saturday at 7 p.m. at Rittenhouse location, 8 p.m. at University City location

WHERE: Dim Sum House by Jane G’s, 1930 Chestnut St. and 3939 Chestnut St.

DETAILS: Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Tiger with themed cocktails and entrees. On Saturday, there will be firecrackers and a special lion dance performance.

EVENT: Songs in the Key of Purple: A Stevie & Prince Tribute

DATE/TIME: Saturday, doors open at 8 p.m.

WHERE: Brooklyn Bowl, 1009 Canal St., Fishtown

DETAILS: Join the Atomic Funk Project, a group of world-class musicians from New York City, for a night of Prince and Stevie Wonder covers. The Fritz, a dance rock band from North Carolina, will be the opening act.

PRICE: $15 in advance, $20 at the door

EVENT: Sixth Annual Bob Marley B-Day Celebration with Sister Nancy

DATE/TIME: Friday, doors open at 7:15 p.m.

WHERE: Ardmore Music Hall, 23 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore

DETAILS: For the sixth year, Ardmore Music Hall will celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday with performances from Sister Nancy, Sensamotion, Jah People and more.

PRICE: General admission is $16

EVENT: First Friday! Lee Mo

DATE/TIME: Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: The Barnes Foundation, 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Logan Square

DETAILS: Join the museum for an evening of live music, cocktails, art and more at this special First Friday event. Philadelphia-based jazz and soul vocalist Lee Mo will perform. Your admission includes access to the collection galleries.

PRICE: $28 with registration

EVENT: A Very Valentine First Friday

DATE/TIME: Friday, 5 p.m.

WHERE: New Liberty Distillery, 1431 N. Cadwallader St., Kensington

DETAILS: Old Kensington Boutique will takeover New Liberty Distillery and bring in 10 local artists and vendors for you to find the perfect gift for that special someone. New Liberty will have drink specials, empanadas and live music.

EVENT: Founders Philly Freeze-Out

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Main Street in Manayunk

DETAILS: Gear up for a three-mile fun run or check out live ice carvings demonstrations during the Founders Philly Freeze-Out. Many restaurants along Main Street will have food and drink specials.

EVENT: Trees on Tap

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Woodford Mansion, 2300 N. 33rd St., Strawberry Mansion

DETAILS: Did you know that you can produce maple syrup in Philadelphia? Join Fairmount Park Conservatory to learn how to learn the boiling and refining process of turning our area tree’s sap into syrup.

PRICE: Tickets start at $10

EVENT: Winterfest for Wildlife

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 12 to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, 8480 Hagy's Mill Road, Roxborough

DETAILS: Support Philly’s only wildlife clinic that treats thousands of sick and injured animals annually by attending its Winterfest event. There will be nature hikes, food trucks and vendors.

PRICE: Free with registration, but donations encouraged
