PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — As we continuously adapt to whatever 2020 throws at us, there's still fun to be had with family and friends in and around Philadelphia.

Scroll below for a list of things to do this weekend — from a safe and social distance, of course.

ONLINE AND STREAMING

Stream a few performances of the classic Nutcracker this weekend. The Philadelphia Orchestra presents "Favorites from the Nutcracker," with medleys of Christmas favorites and "Hansel and Gretel." The Pennsylvania Ballet is also performing "The Nutcracker."

Also on demand is "The Tapcracker At Home," selections from The Lady Hoofers' all-tap, all-female annual spin on the holiday classic. This performance is available online Friday through Sunday night.

On Friday night, experience the magic of a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert, free and online via Facebook. You may even win a prize if you wear your favorite TSO merch. Or, log on to DJ Jazzy Jeff's Magnificent Friday Night for more virtual festive merrymaking. Snag a ticket to join the Mag Mob VIP Room, and get ready for merch, gift cards, and party favors.

Seeking a dare-devilish thrill instead? Join magical mentalist Lindsey Noel and world-class stunt woman Martika for Women of Wonder, a virtual magical and death-defying holiday extravaganza.

OUT AND ABOUT

'Tis the season to scope out a scuba diving Santa at the Adventure Aquarium. Watch him swim next to the sharks, turtles, and other fishy friends during Christmas Underwater, which is included with admission.

And in Ardmore, stroll around Suburban Square during Merry & Bright, Music & Lights. There will be holiday lights, pop-ups and live music throughout the day.
