Teachers, we know how difficult it is to get your classrooms ready for students and that most of the money used is from your own pockets. We want to help!

We can't wait to clear all of your lists! Below is the list of teachers and their lists. We encourage you to give what you can to help a teacher in your town! Thank you for your help and participation!

This list is always being updated!

Addison

Veronica Bravo: As a 5th-year librarian, I am always looking to enhance our school library with updated or new resources as well as support my ongoing professional development. The items on this list are intended to help with creating engaging projects with students in our library, expanding our school library collection, and improving our student services. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Thank you for considering items from my wishlist!

Anna Garcia: I teach at a school with a high poverty rate and a high number of families who are new to the country. My students deserve the same high-quality and fun resources and materials as other students in more affluent areas. I aim to make my classroom environment welcoming, exciting, and engaging. My list is full of books, student incentives, and materials that will also benefit me as a teacher.

Lauren Krause: Ciao! I have had the joy of teaching Italian for over 10 years. I love having the ability to teach my students the Italian language and culture! I am grateful to provide them with a lifelong skill that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Algonquin

Christine: Prizes, snacks, and rewards cost teachers so much each year! I appreciate any help in making the year a success for my students!

Arlington Heights

Olivia Hanssen: As a second year teacher, I am starting from scratch in a new grade level at a new school. I am trying to provide my students with materials and a classroom environment that is welcoming, while also using my first year of experience teaching on my own to figure out what I want to change going into this school year. I need help clearing this list because it has been exciting yet challenging starting fresh, and I want to make sure my classroom is ready in a few weeks for the students to come.

Galilea Lujano: I work in a self contained special education classroom. Most of the time the teacher is the one providing supplies for the students and classroom. We want the best for the students so I am willing to spend whatever I can to help meet the students needs.

Aurora

Kelly: at Waldo Middle School teaches sixth grade math.

Crystal Cepek: I teach the best group of Special Education Kids! They are middle school aged kiddos functioning at a kindergarten/1st grade level academically and social. They are learning to become more independent in their personal hygiene skills. I am not only teaching them skills for school but skills for the rest of their lives.

Belvidere

Linda Zavala: I am a first year teacher eager to start my teaching journey and make a difference in student’s lives. With being a new teacher, I am starting from scratch and could use all the help that I can get which my students and I would greatly appreciate. Any bit of help makes a huge difference for someone starting up.

Bolingbrook

Lesley Razon: Hi everyone! We need help clearing our wish list to support dual language students who learn in both English and Spanish. The items will help with organization and enhance their learning experiences. Many students come from low-income families, so any support is greatly appreciated.

Becky: I am changing roles from a special education resource teacher to a special education self-contained teacher. I’ll have my own classroom!

Bourbonnais

Christina Ward: Each year it gets harder and harder to supply your own materials needed for learning. The teachers in my district get $100 the beginning of the school year for materials, but that gets spent in the blink of an eye. Sometimes there might be extra funds for a new rug and other things, but again money goes quick. The teachers like myself who want to make learning fun and engaging spend a lot of money out of their own pockets to fund their classrooms. The Amazon wish lists have been helpful to myself and so many other teachers to help us get things for our classroom without us having to go broke to do it. Our loved ones and people in the community show support by buying things off our wishlists and it is so appreciated! Any donations to my classroom will benefit my students, who is what I do this for.

Burbank

Shannon Childs: Working with a low income population, having books and new supplies in the hands of my students helps them feel seen and supported!

Carpentersville

Thalía Marrón: Students in a Title 1 school require extra support for materials and resources. I want to provide a positive environment where they can develop a love for learning and it’s hands on activities. It’s hard to find resources in Spanish of the same quality for my dual language students.

Noelle Courtney: I work for a Title one school where all of my students are on free lunch so we also provide them with all items. I want to make my classroom inviting and a great learning environment for them.

Cary

Jaimie: Each year I spend hundreds of dollars to repurchase basic supplies, mentor texts, flexible seating and new birthday gifts for the kids. Any assistance is a HUGE help (especially when I have a wedding coming up that I have to pay for 😜). I love having the kids come into something new in the classroom each year, and this helps make it possible.

Jamie Anfeldt: I'm starting my journey as a first-year teacher in a Title I special education classroom! I need donations for supplies and books to create an inspiring and engaging environment. Your support can make a world of difference for my amazing students! 🌟📚

Kristen Serviss: I am still a fairly new young teacher in the STEM program and want to make sure my students have the BEST time in my classroom. I want them to be excited to come to my class/ feel welcome. With a teacher salary, it is so hard to pay for expenses/ survive with the way the economy is today. I would love the help/ appreciate it!

Chicago

Lizette Ortiz: I need help clearing my list because I would love to offer more flexible seating options for my students and for them to be able to have the supplies needed for the school year . I teach in a Title 3 school and some of my students are able to afford supplies and some are not . I also believe that all student’s should have a wonderful nurturing classroom and in clearing my list it will continue to provide me the opportunity to create this for my students.

Juana Vázquez: As a second year 6th grade reading and writing teacher I wanted to make a change to all my students education.I want to provide them with the skills and materials needed to accomplish their goals.I want to make sure they are equipped to work on challenging tasks they might encounter in their learning process.Creating a safe and equipped environment for them will help them improve reading and writing skills needed to continue for the next year.Growing up in a low income home and a single mother I realized that many of my students can have similar stories and will need important materials and safe place to learn. There were a couple of teacher that made a difference in my learning and I want to continue helping all my students. Some of our students struggle with social emotional challenges and some of the things in my list will help them focus on their learning better. Some are still in need of additional support after COVID left.Thank you in advance:)

Maria Kehoe: Thank you so much for supporting Chicagoland teachers! I have taught third graders for eight years in the Little Village neighborhood. At our Title 1 School, over 95% of students are living at or below the poverty line and qualify for additional supports and free/reduced lunch. Many of my young learners have faced a great deal of adversity and trauma from home and environmental factors. These list items help me to equip my students with equitable tools for success!

Laura Bird: I work at a title 1 school with limited funds this year. I love to do hands on projects with my students that need more supplies, or are a one time use. I also would like to provide some recess equipment for my students to play with in the gym since we don’t have an outdoor play area.

Zuleima Martinez: Hi all! First of all WE LOVE YOUR MORNING SHOW! Me and my 1 year old baby girl Keilany. I would love your help clearing my list because though its not many items we desperately need them to make our classroom better for this upcoming school year. I do work in a low income school that caters to primarily latino and african american students and families. I love what I do and always try to go above and beyond for mi students even though this is my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade for them its the 1st time they will ever experience this grade with me. As a new mommy its expensive and I do have a harder time buying all the needs and wants for my classroom. I really hope you help me clear the list

Chloe: This is my second year teaching! Being a new teacher right out of college it can be hard to equip your classroom with everything you need due to things being so expensive. My goal is to ensure all my students have necessary materials, regardless of their families income. I want every student to be set up for success which can get expensive

Diana Reyes: The classroom is a home away from home for my students and myself. These items would help brighten the classroom and make it a little happier than it already is. Thank you for considering supporting my students and me!

Karla Bernal: I am going into my 6th year of teaching and have always looked for opportunities to help my students and preschool classroom. This year I am focusing on creating monthly themed projects for them. As you can see these items are not cheap and would love to get some help from our communities! Other items in my list include basic materials like crayons and playdoh!

Nadia: I work at a school located in Hermosa, on the northwest side of Chicago. The students and families we service are majority low income. We have an influx of newcomers families. Our school needs help providing basic supplies for our students as well as finding ways to motivate students to come to school. That starts with creating a classroom environment that is welcoming, colorful, and fun. Our students deserve the right tools to engage them in the best education so they may thrive and follow the path to their future.

Kelly Fifer: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I will be teaching in a new school district this year. :) I will be provided with the very basics to set up my classroom, but I would love to splurge on fun and engaging items for my students to utilize for the school year! Thank you for taking a look at my list! :)

Veronica Palacios: Hello, I would like help clearing my wish lost because I want to make my classroom welcoming before my students arrival. It has not been easy this summer to purchase items for my classroom.

Taylor Sobieski: I need help cleaning this list because it seems every year the list just begins to grow and grow. I try to give my students everything. I’ve relied a lot on my own self as well as my family members to provide for these kids so it would be nice to have a little extra support.

Melanie Rodriguez: My students are amazing! They enjoy hands on activities such as playing with play-doh, sand, and drawing/painting. This school year I want my students to continue to grow and meet their IEP goals. With your help and donation we can make that possible!

Sara Patton: CPS has severely cut school budgets and if I want to continue to have an engaging math class for my middle schoolers I need help!

Gina LaCerba: This is my third year teaching special education at a Title 1 school in Chicago. As I continue in this role, I'm realizing that I need more supplies to help my students thrive than the school is able to provide for me.

Fernalis Pratts: I am going into my 7th year teaching. Even though I have been teaching for a while it still continues to be a struggle to add extra items my students need of I am not finding it myself. I make sure to work in the summer just to have extra money but it would be so helpful to clear my list.

Vanessa Diaz: Many of these students are newcomers who have never been in school prior coming to the United States. I believe kids learn the best through play therefore this year I really want to focus on enriching my small groups so students are still learning academic content while playing. I want to create an environment in which kids feel safe, loved, and capable!

Celeste: As a special education teacher, I work with students with various disabilities and have a strong passion for their success. My Amazon wish list needs your support because many of essential materials aren't provided by the school district, and often must be paid for out of pocket. I want to provide my students with the best schooling experience! Thank you!

Adrianna Lopez: I have been with cps going on 13 years. I have worked my way up from working with severe students with disabilities , to a bilingual teacher assistant, to a kindergarten teacher, and now I am starting my second year as a special education teacher for k-2 severe profound cluster. I started in this setting and this will be my first year teaching in this setting. I want to give my students the best opportunities for success and I also want to give them the best school experiences. I want my materials on my list to be able to provide them with fine motor activities, gross motor activities, work on their goals and make progress, all while having a welcoming environment for them to be in.

Monisha Washington: It is always my goal to create a learning environment that fosters community, collaboration, safety, and creativity. The items on my list help supplement supplies that families cannot provide as well as items to enhance our overall learning experience. Kindergarten is most of my students’ introduction to formal education and I believe that if we get a good start, they will be eager to continue growing and learning for years to come.

Lily Aranda: I am looking to add a few new items to classroom to support learning and engagement. My students are 4-5 year olds with varying needs and supports. As a blended classroom I need a variety of sensory materials. I also make a lot of visual supports for individual students. Clearing this list would kick start the school year!

Karla: Hi there! I have been teaching first grade for the last 5 years, but this year I will be starting my first year teaching middle school students with disabilities. I want to provide my students with the best support I can by providing them with materials to help meet their sensory and academic needs. I have never taught this grade or special education before, so I am starting fresh with buying materials for the class :) Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Bianca Higgins: I am going into my 9th year teaching. This year, I moved schools to be closer to my family. Since I’ll be starting over at a new school, I will need some extra supplies and furniture to support my student’s and make my classroom environment welcoming.

Leticia Medellin: Every year I have a Vision of what my classroom, looks, feels and sounds. But every year my eyes are bigger than my wallet. I would love to have my vision come to fruition. My students deserve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sonia Rodriguez: I love my job and the community I help everyday! Part of making my classroom work is making it feel warm, cozy, and inviting. That requires a lot of work that I sadly cannot do by myself and I ask my beautiful community to help me out in creating a classroom where children feel welcomed and comfortable to be ready to learn and feel safe. Anything helps my classroom :)

Tania Batres: I’m going into my fifth year of teaching this upcoming school year. I’m moving from the suburbs to Chicago to work at a title I school in CPS (Hibbard Elementary). It is an exciting change for me, though, my school has limited supplies and I’m in need of materials to have a successful school year. One of my biggest missions as a teacher is to create an inclusive, safe and fun environment for my third grade dual language students. My list is filled with many supplies that will help with that.

Ofelia Davalos: I teach in a title 1 school -majority of students are low income and also receive free or price reduced lunch. I try my best to offer students everything to improve student learning and engagement.

Hannah Cracco: I work in a title 1 private catholic school. This will be my second year at St Bede and it is mostly funded by my own spending to foster a safe and creative learning environment. I want to give these bright students the opportunity to have fun in school!

Melisa Campos: This year I will have 60 of my 8th graders participating in history fair. A lot of students qualify for free and reduced lunch, and sometimes exhibit projects can be costly for families outside of regular school supplies. I would like my students to feel confident with their creativity and not have supplies be a barrier or an excuse. Teachers in CPS get $250 every year for their classrooms and it doesn’t roll over. I spent majority of that money last year on just construction paper, border, glue, and letters for 7th graders who did Money Fair.

Katherine: Hi! I am a CPS teacher in the Northside of Chicago. I work with students with severe disabilities ages 9-12th grade. Our schools try to fund as much as possible for our classroom but there is still bits and pieces that are still missing. I already waste a good amount of my own money buying what I can to create an environment where my students feel welcomed and like at home. We do spend a good portion of our days together so I try my best to make it our little home away from home. Anything that is purchased with greatly appreciated!!

Sarah Gonia: I have now been teaching 11 years in a low-income community in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham community. Students do not always come to school with necessary supplies. Providing them with basic supplies as well as comfortable seating areas, fidgets, and rewards helps to keep them motivated to keep learning. I am a single mom of two, I am in school myself and I want to make sure my students still get the best of me as well as learn in a fun environment.

Lorena Diaz: I am working in a neighborhood school in Back of the Yards. It is my first year back to the neighborhood. I want to give back to the community where I was raised. With students coming from all types of backgrounds, there are different needs and I want to make sure they feel safe and supported in our shared classroom.

Jennifer Alcántara: These supplies will directly benefit my kindergarteners, providing them with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Your support means the world to us 💕

Paola Pacheco: Hi! I am going into my second year of teaching and there is so much I have learned in the past year. It is so important to me for my students to have a valuable learning experience but to also love coming to school. Working in a low income community I realize that headphones are some of our bigger priorities. With today’s technology, there are so many things students do digitally and it is crucial for them to have headphones of their own. Many of my students cannot afford headphones of their own and even when I buy them it one of the first things that break or do not work. I also want my students to feel safe and my calm corner is a place for them to take a breath and relax if something is wrong. I have learned that everything on my list is good for my students to continue learning.

Marlin Ortiz: Hi, I am a Dual Kindergarten teacher. I am asking for centers for my students to practice. I am also asking for resources for my students to use and incentives for school year. Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance. My kindergartens will appreciate it.

Carolina Smith: Thank you for considering a contribution to our first grade dual language classroom. To create a warm, inviting, and supportive environment for our rigorous Spanish and English learning, we need items from our wish list to enhance their educational journey.

Myishima Payne: The resources listed on my Wishlist are essential tools that will directly impact student engagement, academic achievement, classroom behaviors and overall classroom experience. These items include required supplies that majority of my students will need support in obtaining; such as pencils, glue, paper, crayons, scissors, notebooks and much more. By providing these materials, you will be empowering my students to explore their creativity, foster new ideas, develop critical thinking skills, and expand their love of learning. This support will enable me to create innovative and engaging learning environment with the resources they will need to succeed. I am confident that your support will have a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Cicero

Sheila Sanchez: Clearing this list will help my students at a Title 1 elementary, these students come from low income households and deserve to experience the privilege of education in a safe and fulfilling space.

Amanda Cowden: Each year I tell myself I'm going to spend less on my room and more on myself (self care). That quickly goes out the window and I rather take care of my babies who fill my classroom than myself.

Country Club Hills

Anissa A Crawford: Wanting to make an exciting and inviting environment for the kiddos

Crete

Deana OBrien: I have been teaching 5th grade for over 20 years and my stuff is old and broken like me!

Crown Point

Amanda Alliss: Any extra help is always appreciated.

Heather Corsey: Our school is going under a huge renovation to make room for our growing community. I am moving into a completely brand new classroom, after 14 years.

Deerfield

Paige Chorbajian: I need help clearing my list as there is always extra supplies that are needed for the classroom. Not only school supplies, but in order to make the classroom feel warm and welcoming for 6 and 7 year old students. It’s important to me to incorporate calm corner supplies as well for students who need a safe space when feeling upset or overwhelmed.

Des Plaines

Jamie Mette: Hello! This will be my 10th year teaching at Central. It is a wonderful neighborhood school with great kids and families. I love finding new and exciting things to add to my classroom to make it feel as safe and comfortable as their home. Adding books is always an awesome way to engage my reluctant readers into the world of literature. Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated!

Jessica Sweeney: Kindergarten is often a child's first experience with school and I always want to make sure it's a great experience for them! I'm always doing research and looking for new and fun ways to engage my students, while also making sure we are learning everything we need to - which is a lot these days! It takes a lot of time, energy, and money to be a teacher so I am always beyond thankful for any donations we receive!

Porter, IN

Samantha Wesley: As a charter school teacher I do not receive the same funding as a public or private school teacher. I must pay for the majority of my supplies out of pocket. This is only my second year and I am struggling to afford all of the amazing projects I have planned for my middle schoolers.

Elgin

Leah Wilkins: Our district provides some basics but being in so many classrooms and moving between them, extra supplies are always welcome as I have classes with both special education students and gen ed students. Some classes are quite large. I have only one special education class this school year (Geometry). I teach with 2 other teachers so supplying them with some extras is always appreciated.

Nicole Lux: I need help clearing the list because this is my first job and the teacher before me took most of the toys and I unfortunately can't afford alot. I am very passionate about what I do and love my job and students.

Elk Grove

Cindy Darga: While I am provided with basic supplies for my students, many of them come from difficult home situations. The majority of my students are English Language Learners, and since I change grade levels almost every year, the materials I need to best help my students learn are always changing.

Elmhurst

Marisa Matiasovsky: This is my third year teaching and most of my stuff is hand-me-downs from other teachers! I would really love newer things to fill my classroom with.

Evergreen Park

Shavon Brewer: Every school year I make it a mission to give my students the best classroom learning environment. Every item on my list serves a unique purpose in our classroom. For instance, when my students walk into the classroom they are not greeted with a math worksheet to do first thing when they walk in, they get to collaborate and think creatively in our Makers' Space or Math Cafe! Or they can chill out in our Zen Zone or Readers' Lounge and get their bodies ready to start the day. Just 15-20 minutes to decompress first thing in the morning makes the world of difference in the eyes of a child! I created these spaces in my classroom because I believe students need that time to regulate their bodies, socialize, and think creatively.

Flossmore

Katie Bernecker: After a tough year in the classroom I am ready to start the year with a new energy and perspective. Having help with extra supplies gives me the ability to stress less over my own medical bills.

Fox River Grove

Jodi: When creating the best learning environment for my students it’s important to include items that will make a safe, comfortable, space that encourages learning.

Glendale Heights

Erin Gerkin: This is my 10th year of teaching but every year faces new students and challenges. I like to provide my students with an engaging, fun and creative place to learn. A lot of my students come from low income homes and any help is greatly appreciated!

Alexis Simmons: I am a 2nd year middle school teacher. During my first year, I ended up spending a lot of my paychecks on classroom supplies I didn’t know were needed to help my classroom function. This year, I am hoping to feel more prepared by having the needed supplies as I go into the school year. There are many things middle schoolers need to help them feel supported in the classroom. With only being 2 years out of college, supplying my own classroom is something I unfortunately do not have the means to do on my own. The possibility of having even just a few items on my list funded will make it easier to have all the necessary supplies in my classroom for the school year.

Erin Maloney: I'm about to start my 20th year teaching and my students deserve the best! I typically buy these supplies myself but anyone would like to help, that would be amazing!

Magda Hernandez: I work in a district where more than 60% of my students come from a low income household.

Glenview

Dawn Jansen: There are nice areas of Glenview, but I work at a Title I school. The population I work with are typically low socioeconomic status. I want to provide support to my students at school, as well as their families at home. Please help me support my students!

Laura Talley: Being a teacher, there are many costs that are accumulated to really make the classroom feel like home. All of the items shared on my list are those that will be used to create a positive, enriching environment for my students.

Grayslake

Danielle Pinkus: I have been teaching 4th grade for 7 years, this is my first year teaching 2nd grade. Over time my things have been well loved for my 4th graders, but not age appropriate to teach a new grade. I’ve spent so much planning, money and time to make sure my curriculum materials are ready for my kiddos, but there’s are so many little things that I still need for my classroom to make it the best learning environment.

Griffith

Tiana Sanchez: I’m a single mom working two jobs to put a roof over my son’s head and food on the table. It’s hard to give my students everything they deserve while giving my son everything he needs.

Gurnee

Maria Meza: I am a fourth year teacher and I am going from teaching fifth grade to first grade, which means I need to change a lot. I would love to be able to provide the best materials and environment for my students even on my limited budget!

Adrianne Barkhurst: I have over 100 students and buying supplies and classroom materials each year can be quite costly.

Hammond, IN

Andrea Solis: This will be my second year teaching these subjects and I need some help with supplies. The school is on a low budget and I don't want to ask them because my library is being remodeled so I don't want to add extra spendings for Art as well.

Rocio Guzman: I started as a first year teacher last year in the middle of the school year with absolutely nothing. The teacher previously to me had over 15 years and took everything I was starting from scratch. I now I’m starting my first complete year and still do not have all the necessary tools. I need to complete my job for these children and their different disabilities. I reached out to my department and they only gave me $200 to buy items which was definitely not enough to purchase manipulative sensory toys or tools in general. I love these students and I want to give them the chance to be able to learn and go to general education classrooms they deserve someone to believe in them.

Hanover Park

Michelle Hayward: I teach at a Title 1 school and these items would really help my 3rd graders have an amazing year!

Hebron

Holly Fischer: I have a passion to help middle schoolers learn to believe in themselves and their math abilities. I struggled with math in school, and now I try to help my students find success in their struggles. There are a lot of people who hate math or “can’t do math”. I strive to get my students not to have that mentality.

Highland

Sarah Lewis: I’m broke. My daughter is starting kindergarten and all the fees, and extra curricular activities has made it hard for me to buy for my own class this year like I usually do.

Hoffman Estates

Taylor: I teach students who are all considered at risk. Teachers do not make as much money for all their hard work, clearing the list would make such a difference in my classroom & would give me the ability to further educate my students. My students & I would be eternally grateful!!

Homer Glen

Cassidy: I would love help clearing my list to help inspire and make an amazing classroom for my students! Students spend more time in the classroom than anywhere else. Making it welcoming, fun, loving, and inviting makes students want to learn & do amazing things! They are our future.

Johnsburg

Tori Curry: I am going into my 3rd year of teaching and focused my first two years on getting a curriculum set up, creating relationships with the students, and organizing a classroom that had a recently retired teacher with lots of useful and not so useful items! This year I want to make our classroom environment more comfortable, cozy, and homey for my students and I. I would love to purchase the items in my wishlist but being a new teacher on top of paying for my (almost complete) masters degree doesn't allow the budget. I am lucky to have a good art supply budget from the school but those leftover decor, posters, and fun games won't make it on the list.

Lake Forest

Hannah Sasanelli: A lot of the things that make our classroom cozy and a home away from home from students come out of our own pockets. Things wear and tear over years and always want to make sure that I have materials to support their learning, their growth and their creativity. I would love to have some of these things for our classroom to help support my students and the learning community we make in my room! I thank you guys for advertising this opportunity for people to help out teachers!!!

Lake Station

Amy Brailey: The items on this list are for the colony projects I do with my students every year. I’ve never made a wish list. Normally, I just buy the materials and students “purchase” them from me with their “cooling money.” Then, they build their colony. We are a low income district, which is why I purchase things for them. The economy and personal medical bills combined with district cost cuts makes this a difficult year.

Eluides Pagan: I’ve been a teacher for 27 years. I’ve never had a list before and have a very few things in it. I teach in a low income school.

Lemont

Sarah Fedele: As a 7th year teacher, I need help with getting some more engaging material to help with new student needs, some fun community building things as well as some relevant books. My class focuses heavily on building relationships, which is what some of the items are for (prizes, birthday buckets etc)

Danielle Kemp: Kids these days need so much more than pencils and paper. Hoping to add more to help support my students because everything else I need will be bought by me!

Lowell

Katie Nylen: I am a first year teacher who just graduated from Purdue University. I want to give my students the best education they can receive and make school enjoyable for them.

Lyons

Stephanie Estrada: I am going to be a first year teacher and the school I will be working at is a title l school which means students that attend come from low income homes. We get a lot of things as the schools are government funded, but it does not apply to how a classroom is decorated or extra resources in which the students can benefit from. Which is why I’m writing this in hopes of B96 helping to clear my list! I have many books, supplies, storage bins, and things for myself that can also help me create a clean and welcoming environment for my students. There are also toys for my students that they can use during recess time. I hope that you can help with clearing my list! Thank you!

Medinah

Renee Wesley: Although I am not a teacher, I am the school nurse. We help kids each and every day be healthy enough to come to school and help them achieve greatness. We don't get a lot of money or support, so any help would be appreciated.

Melrose Park

Holly Dziewulski: I work in a low income school district with students who require intensive supports and interventions to achieve academic success. My students would benefit from hands on materials found on my list to achieve rigorous math and literacy standards.

Minooka

Anna Friday: This is my 15th year teaching kindergarten! Social/emotional learning is so important at this level, especially after the pandemic! During Covid I wasn't able to use my cooperative play items due to social distancing. I didn't have room to store a ot of it so I was forced to get rid of many items. Over the last few years I have slowly added things back but I still don't have enough to meet the needs of all of my students. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated!

Mount Prospect

Emily Goebel: I work in a Catholic School and we need to buy most of our supplies out of pocket. This is my 2nd year teaching and I’ve spent a majority of my salary trying to make my room an inviting, comfortable, and positive space for my students. Clearing my list would help my students and me create the perfect space with everything we need to succeed.

Nimira Ehani: I need more books and a book shelf for my class. I used my own money last year and spent way more than I made each month.

Naperville

Vanessa Alonso: I need help clearing my list because this will be my third year teaching and I am still building up my school supplies/materials. This will help my students have the necessities to learn and have fun learning. I love having the ability to teach with different materials especially teaching in Spanish. The visuals and supplies are well used for those who are learning a different language.

New Castle

Brianna Moore: I’m a second year teacher. My first year I spent a lot of money trying to get everything ready for my students. I took a summer job to help fund supplies, snacks, decorations and learning materials. My account went into overdraft more time than I could count but it was worth seeing how much my scholars grew and seeing the smiles on their faces every day.

New Chicago, IN

Newt Cantrell: We're a non-profit special needs preschool that does not turn anyone away for inability to pay, which means funds and teacher salaries are dependent on money we raise via fundraisers throughout the year. Money is often tight and most of our toys are secondhand and not meant to meet the needs of the disabled children we serve.

New Lenox

Kristin Smith: Each year I look for new ways to make improvements. My most "wanted" items this year are the chair pockets. At the start of each class we practice math problems together from the previous lesson and my students enjoy using the individual whiteboards. These will create a nice, organized way to have them at their desks and ready to go when they enter the room.

Niles

Taylor Oldham: I am going to be a first year first grade teacher! It has always been my dream to be a teacher and I want to make sure that my students have a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment to learn in! I also teach at a title one school where many students come from low income family so providing them with the proper resources is very important to me! :)

Normal

Paulina: With my recent pregnancy and subsequent medical bills, I have been struggling to renew my classroom school supplies. I am starting in a new district this year, and I hope to make a great impression and provide for my students. I focus on project-based learning, and need supplies to help students, especially those who struggle with attaining their own.

North Liberty

Amber Lyszkiewicz: We are a Title I school which means we serve a lot of low income families. These families need help with basic supplies. Supplying my classroom also helps reach every diverse learner I have. I am also preparing to have a baby in November and it’s all so costly!

Oak Lawn

Mia DePatie: I just got a new job after being at another school for 4 years. I’m looking for more supplies that can be mine to help my students learn and grow each day!

Oak Park

Valeria Garcia: I need assistance clearing my list because it is only my second year teaching. Building a classroom that is safe & welcoming requires a lot of supply and money. I want to make sure students have access to recourses to help them succeed!

Oswego

Jessica Yandun: I mostly teach 1st gen Latinx students that would really benefit from great tools from my list. 😊

Palatine

Emily Bigott: I am switching to a new grade this year and will have lots of children who have never been in school before. I need some new books, fidgets/sensory items, teacher supplies, etc. and it’s very hard to afford it on my own! Any help would be amazing!

Plainfield

Cheri Kleinmark: Unfortunately our school does not have the budget to provide everything needed for our students.

Kayla Hlavacek: I work at a title 1 school where many students are in need of extra supplies. This is my 3rd year and I am still constantly purchasing items to make my classroom a friendly environment, support my students needs, and turn my classroom into a safe place for students. Our schools do not get nearly enough funding and unfortunately, most items in the classroom are generously passed down from previous teachers or are purchased out of our own pockets. I am grateful for any and all contributions to help create a successful learning environment for our future generations!

Ruby Delgado: I am a first year bilingual teacher who is just freshly graduated. I am the first in my family to attend university so education is a huge factor in my life. My goal is to provide an enriching and empowering environment for my students to succeed and also cherish their education.

Portage

Charlotte Hernandez: Every year I work really hard to make my classroom and inviting place that my students enjoy coming to. I also want to make sure that I have all supplies needed to make their learning experience as valuable as possible. There are a lot of things that I need to help me with both of these goals. It’s not always easy to for everything myself out-of-pocket as I have two kids of my own, but I do my best each year.

Rensselaer

Melissa Peck: We live in an area where most are just getting by financially. I teach behavioral and social emotional skills and we are in dire need of some things, just the basics. But they’re all so expensive.

Ricerdale

Tracee: I am a mother of 4 as well as a teacher. So I have to prepare my classroom for the school year as well as my own children. It can be very expensive especially since I am not getting paid during the summer.

Roselle

Hannah Solarz: I will be teaching first grade this upcoming school year. I would love for my list to be posted because all the items would support my students in having an engaging, meaningful school year. This is my second year teaching. I love helping the students grow and inspiring them. All of the items on the list would help them have a wonderful first grade experience! Thank you so much for all the support.

Round Lake

Taylor Adkins: Many students at Magee do not have the extra funds needed for school supplies. As a result, most teachers often provide essential items like pencils and pens. Throughout the year, these supplies are constantly replenished to meet the ongoing needs of our students.

Eliza Herrera: When Covid happened our district disposed of everything and they had the idea to make all classroom the same. I got rid of everything as we were told but now they have changed their protocols and we have been given permission to bring in certain items. My students will benefit from every single item listed but any little bit helps.

Jessica Atilano: I work for a title one school which means that a lot of our students come in with trauma and low income. I also work for a classroom that is bilingual which is 50% English and 50% Spanish. Which we don’t get any fun engaging books or toys in our classroom that can help with their learning. This is why we ask for help because a lot of the fun engaging stuff we have to provide and we don’t make enough money for that.

Schaumburg

Stephanie Chism: I just accepted a new job with a new grade. I am a 24 year old teacher still paying off student loans. It is difficult to get everything you need for a classroom to make it a safe and functional learning environment. Starting over is hard especially when the age changes and not all the things I have can be used in the same way anymore. Older kids like different things and finding ways to spend money throughout the year can be tough.

Schiller Park

Kimi Klein: Donations can enhance the learning environment and provide students with necessary resources not covered by the school budget!

Shabonna

Alexis: A fun kindergarten teacher here with a vibrant wish list filled with engaging classroom tools and supplies, but with so many exciting items, it can be overwhelming to manage and organize. Extra help in cleaning up my Amazon wish list ensures that my classroom stays organized and well-equipped for my young learners!

South Elgin

Ashley Lindemann: I am a second year teacher! I taught 6th grade last year and this year will be teaching a 5/6 split. I am trying to clear my list so that my students can have a safe and fun learning environment. Flexible seating is such a necessity for students who need an alternative way to learn which was something I couldn’t afford for my classroom starting off as a first year teacher. To fully furnish a classroom and provide students with everything they need is not budget friendly. I spent the summer trying to find classroom materials on a budget but wasn’t too successful. I just want my kids to have the best learning experience and environment that I can provide them with.

Joyce Yuen: Hello! I will be a first year teacher this upcoming school year and I am so excited! With that being said, I do have to supply a lot of materials on my own. I do this to ensure my students have a safe and accessible environment where they can have the resources they need, and be in a setting they can genuinely call a safe place. It is my priority to create a classroom my students WANT to come be in, and many items from my wishlist will help achieve that. All of these items will help ensure my students have an environment where they can best learn!

St. Charles

Yazmin Martinez: It’s so important for me that my students feel welcome in their classroom. I want my classroom to be inviting and for them to feel safe. We build community through books we read, through the routines we learn, games we play. It would be so helpful to be able to give my students these opportunities with your help.

Tinley Park

Taylor Metlovas: The courses that I teach are relatively new and fast growing. Funds are spread across the department, so any additional help that I can receive to get resources for my amazing students I appreciate so much! Thank you for helping me make my students learning experience memorable and valuable! Your donations are going to future doctors, nurses, therapists, coaches, and teachers!

Jen Sebastian: This is my first year in a new district and this k-1 special ed room is the first year for these grade levels

Union Mills

Emily Mohlke: I am entering my 7th year teaching. Last year I changed from first grade to fourth grade. In those previous years, I was able to build up a great primary classroom. However, moving grade levels left me with limited resources for upper elementary. I am slowly but surely building up my classroom but could use the help to give my students a relaxing, fun, engaging, and interactive classroom.

University Park

Lisa Teslow: I have been a teacher at CMMS for 16 years. A lot of our students are low income and don’t always have everything they need. I try to provide as much as I can but it gets hard and expensive. I teach 6th grade Language & Literature and I love helping kids realize what a valuable gift reading is.

Valparaiso

Gretchen Schulz: After teaching fifth grade for 18 years, I am being moved to another grade level. I am excited but also nervous. I have been slowly adding to the curricular pieces but need to add to the needs of my students in the classroom, including books that work with my new units of studies.

Brandy Campbell: Everything in my classroom is out of pocket. I like adding to my classroom when I can but I also have 3 kids at home to support. My preschoolers deserve the best and I try the best to provide them with the best.

Vernon Hills

Miranda Randel: I am an elementary art teacher in Vernon Hills. I teache 17 sections of students 1st-5th grade twice a week. I am a first year teacher and super excited to give my students the best art experience possible. I am always looking at ways to engage and challenge my students to explore their creativity and reach their goals. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Waukegan

Emely Arcos: For this academic school year, I want to freshen up my classroom to support my students’ learning for this year. I ask for your support to make my classroom an environment where students have all of their resources to grow.

Westchester

Melissa Martin: I recently graduated from college and am paying off my (seemingly never-ending) loans. I'm also continuing my studies at Loyola University to earn my Master's in English, so any financial support for my classroom is greatly appreciated.

Wheatfield

Caitlin Brady: I need help clearing my list because I want to have supportive classroom for my students. I want my classroom to be a safe place for students to learn and grow.

Wheeling

Tiffany Safranek: I teach at a title 1 school which means the area has a population with low socio-economic status. We provide all the school supplies for the kids, they get free breakfast & lunch, and I end up spending SO much of my own money on my classroom to support my students and their families. Any help would be much appreciated.

Woodstock

Lindsey Mortell: This is my tenth year teaching at this level. I have the privilege of working with a variety of students and unique abilities. Due to the constant change in needs I’m having to always keep a large toolbox. I do my best to create materials with the things I have but love to give my kids new and exciting things.

Yorkville

April strait: I want to provide my students with items to promote diversity and inclusiveness as well create a welcoming, calm and safe classroom.

Zion

Lindsey Kennedy: I work in a program called Project Recover, which allows juniors and seniors to complete online courses to make up credits and allow them to be eligible and ready for Graduation on time. It’s extremely rewarding! We were just relocated to a new classroom space and will have to start fresh with furniture, decor, etc. I included antibacterial wipes and snacks, as most of my students come from a lower income household, so I usually purchase many of these items on my own to assure they have what they need. I would appreciate this so so much! And my students would appreciate it more! Many times they are overlooked even in our own building as “troublesome” students, and it would be so nice for them to be rewarded with a safe, comfortable atmosphere to learn, grow, and succeed! Thank you so much for your consideration!

Jamie Pineda: Going into my 5th year teaching. I go between four schools so any little bit helps when it comes for resources and enrichment in the classroom!
