Dear Juan Soto,
I wrote you, but you still ain’t callin’.
I left my cell, my TikTok and my Instagram at the bottom.
I’ve sent you three letters already this autumn, you must not’ve got ’em.
There probably was a problem with the- look, it would be really great if you signed with the Red Sox this offseason.
You grew up as a Red Sox fan. And now you could be the FACE OF THE FRANCHISE. Also, you are friends with David Ortiz. David Ortiz literally said you could be the next David Ortiz. It feels like he doesn’t say that about just anybody. That is the dream. And all of your dreams will come true if you sign with the Red Sox. It makes almost too much sense.
There is a lot to love about Boston. Obviously. First of all, you get to play at Fenway Park. In front of the best fans in baseball. In the most historic and most beautiful ballpark that has ever existed.
And the sunsets. Boston has some legendary sunsets. The sunsets over Fenway Park and the Charles River and Castle Island are breathtaking.
And, importantly, it is home to some of the best restaurants in the world like Grill 23, a Capital Grille and approximately 85 Dunkin’ Donuts locations. Maybe by next season there will be 100.
Another thing to consider, whenever the Red Sox make it to the World Series, they win it (this millennium). The Yankees don't always do that. Boston's odds to win the World Series next season are +3000 at BetMGM, which is better than they were ahead of this past season when they were +6600. Just something to keep in mind.
Money, shmoney. Whatever the Red Sox offer you, take it because it will be worth it to get to play and live here.
And if you have any questions, again, my TikTok and my Instagram are at the bottom.
Wishing all Juan Sotos a very pleasant please sign with the Red Sox,
Lucy
