The Celtics were sparked by Jaden Springer in last night’s overtime win over the Clippers and now they don’t have to travel very far to face the Lakers in this rivalry matchup on national television.
And I am taking Boston to beat LA and cover -5.5 tonight.
The Lakers have lost four of their last seven games and they have only covered in two of their last six.
Meanwhile, the Celtics have covered in four of their last seven games on the road. And they are 16-5 SU on the road this season after kicking off this road trip with two wins. Of course, it’s a little concerning that it took effort for the Celtics to beat a short-handed Clippers team in overtime. But they still won that game by four points. And the Lakers are averaging 111 points scored per game, while the Celtics are averaging 117.
So I think the Celtics can make this three road wins in a row tonight and can win by this margin to cover against the Lakers.
