Most Popular Anytime Touchdown Bets for AFC & NFC Championship Games

Breaking down the most bet anytime touchdown scorer props, featuring Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, and other stars.

This weekend, the NFL Conference Championships will kick off, featuring some extremely interesting matchups that are sure to generate a massive amount of attention. With that attention, a lot of money is going to be thrown down at the counters at BetMGM Sportsbook, and many of those wagers will be on players to score a touchdown. Anytime touchdown scorer is one of the most popular prop wagers in gambling, and our friend John Ewing over at BetMGM was kind enough to share their data on where the betting public is putting their money.

These are the anytime touchdown bets that have generated the most tickets at BetMGM so far, otherwise known as the most public bets.

Bills QB Josh Allen Anytime Touchdown vs. Chiefs +100

If you know anything about football, you could probably have guessed that Allen would be the most bet touchdown scorer this weekend. He might be a quarterback, but he is one of the best runners at the position in the NFL. When the Bills get down to the goal line, there is very little question as to who is getting the ball and pushing it across, and that is generally going to be Allen with the QB sneak. Against the Kansas City Chiefs, it isn’t going to be an easy task, however. The Chiefs ranked 8th in the NFL against the run, and also 8th in Red Zone defense. They know how dangerous Allen is with his legs, and so do bettors, which is why everyone is hammering home to score in this game.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown vs. Commanders -225

I would say I am blown away that anyone would be willing to bet something that has a price tag as substantial as -225, but when it comes to Barkley, I really can’t be that shocked. He’s basically put the Eagles on his back in the playoffs, generating almost all of their offense and having what is considered a generational season on the ground. In two prior games against the Commanders, he’s rushed for 146 and 150 yards, just ripping them for big gain after big gain. He also had two touchdowns in each of those games. Washington ranked 30th in the NFL against the run this season, so even at a -225 price, people don’t seem to be that worried about him getting shut out from scoring.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown vs. Bills +130

With the vintage Kelce performance that he put on this past weekend against the Houston Texans, it isn’t surprising to see bettors flock to him now to score here against the Bills at home. He was remarkable, generating 117 receiving yards and getting in the endzone in what looked like a page out of history for the 35 year old future Hall of Famer. It seems as if Kelce takes it easy during the regular season, seeing as how his team is nearly a given to make the playoffs every year with Patrick Mahomes at QB, and then exerts all his energy in the postseason. Many veteran players who don’t have the same juice they had in their prime do this same thing. Considering the Bills ranked just 24th against the pass in 2024, bettors are salivating to wager on him here.

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin Anytime Touchdown vs. Eagles +140

Scary Terry has been the No. 1 receiver in Washington for years now, and he has gone through his fair share of mediocre QB play. I’m sure he has been ecstatic with the way rookie Jayden Daniels has been playing, and now he gets his chance to show off on one of the biggest stages in football, the NFC Championship game. McLaurin has been a beast, scoring 13 touchdowns this season, and he has scored in each of the Commanders first two playoff games against the Buccaneers and Lions. This will be his toughest challenge yet, as the Eagles were the No. 1 defense in the NFL against the pass in 2024.

Bills RB James Cook Anytime Touchdown vs. Chiefs +140

Buffalo’s running back often gets overlooked with how good Josh Allen is and the way he has been playing, but Cook has had a fantastic season himself, and the Bills wouldn’t be here without his level of play. He led the entire NFL in rushing touchdowns with 16 of them, and also scored against the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card Round. He had a stinker against the Baltimore Ravens last week, generating just 67 yards and failed to get into the endzone, but that isn’t keeping people from betting on him here. As mentioned, the Chiefs have been great against the run, ranking 8th in the league.
