Looking at Red Sox Futures After Alex Bregman Signing

It’s been a beautiful day for Red Sox fans, as many of us woke up to the news that the team has signed Alex Bregman to a three year, $120 million deal.

And this is a TREMENDOUS sign that the Red Sox are back.

The Red Sox are finally, FINALLY willing to spend money, to make a splash, not to merely show interest in a player and then watch him sign with another team and say oh well, we tried.

They actually did something and that something actually improves the team.
If you agree and agree to the extent that their futures odds for this season are worth a look, here are some bets I like a lot with odds from BetMGM:

Red Sox to win the AL East: +425
Red Sox 1st in the Division/Yankees 2nd: +775
Red Sox to Win the AL: +1000
And finally, Red Sox to win the World Series: +2500

FanGraphs also now have the playoff chances for the Red Sox at 53.8 percent, up from 45.3 percent.

Though I like all of these futures for them for this season, obviously, if I had to pick one, it would be for them to win the AL East at +425.

Because things are certainly looking up for this team. And maybe I’ll say they’re going to win the World Series before too long.
