Celebrity feuds aren’t always what they are made out to be. While stories are often told about fights and arguments between rivals, most of the time the divide is happening more in media than in real life.

However, one feud that seems to be mostly fueled by the celebrities involved is the one between actors Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. Now, it seem Vin Diesel is ready to put the discord behind them for the sake of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have been publicly butting heads since working together on 2017's "The Fate of the Furious."

Both have taken shots at the other, which led to Johnson leaving the franchise after starring in his own spinoff, 2019's "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw."

However, in a recent Instagram post, Vin Diesel wrote under a picture of the two of them “I say this out of love... but you must show up — do not leave the franchise idle. You have a very important role to play. Hobbs can't be played by no other.”

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star also referenced his family in the post, sharing that his children refer to Johnson as "Uncle Dwayne" and saying that "there is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes."

According to Yahoo, Johnson has not responded at this time. Fans commenting on Diesel's post seemed on board with the olive branch, with many sharing that they hope to see Johnson return for a finale.
