TMZ reports that Ingham will file legal documents as soon as today, asking for dismissal from the ongoing case. Sources have told TMZ that Ingham was upset with Britney’s testimonial in court on June 24, saying that she never knew she could fight to end the conservatorship.

TMZ also reports, “We're told Ingham regularly gave Britney options, including requesting that the conservatorship should end, but she never wanted to pull the plug.”

It is believed that Ingham will not go into depth on his filing to be removed as Britney’s lawyer, because of attorney/client confidentially agreements.

Ingham’s departure comes shortly after Britney’s longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, announced his resignation on Monday. He explained that because Spears has been considering retiring from performing, he did not feel the need to continue as her manager, adding “I’ll be there for her if she ever needs me again, just as I always have been."
