Apparently, Snoop D-O-Double-G has a little bit of a Country itch to scratch and has expressed some interest in collaborating with the genre’s reigning queen.

Could it be that Beyonce's foray into the world of Country music has inspired Snoop Dogg to do the same? Crazier things certainly have happened. Speaking with reporters while at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Wednesday, February 14 Snoop Dogg revealed, “I’d love to do a song with Dolly Parton, can you hook that up?”
“She brings it,” he added of Dolly, who recently released her cover of Queen’s “We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You” over the summer as a celebration of the upcoming Paris games and also featured it on her latest album, Rockstar.
Snoop appeared at the press junket to discuss NBC’s upcoming broadcast of the 2024 Olympics, as he had previously offered up commentary on the 2021 games beside comedian Kevin Hart. This year, Snoop will be on hand to provide commentary once again. As for a collab with Dolly, NBC Olympics executive producer Molly Solomon said she wasn’t ready to offer info regarding any other collaborations with the singer.
Snoop is expected to participate in field packages as well as interviews with athletes on the ground throughout the upcoming Olympic Games. “I never come in cold, I always come in hot,” Snoop said regarding any preparation he’s been doing for the event and on its competitors. “Don’t worry about research, I know everything about everybody.”
Asked what his title should be for the games, his response was perfectly on brand. “O.G.” he said. “We plan on shaking it up.”
The 2024 Olympic Games are scheduled to begin on Friday, July 26 -- broadcasting in the United States on NBC.
