This year’s event will feature artists, athletes, and experts sharing honest conversation about their personal experiences with mental health in a continued effort to raise awareness and support. Because talk saves lives.

One of the many celebrity guests joining this year’s broadcast is Country artist Maren Morris. Earlier this year, Maren talked details on how she prioritizes her own mental health, especially when it comes to social media.

“I think we are social creatures, but not to the extent that social media addicts us to and asks us to be attached to,” she said before sharing how important she finds taking breaks from social sites.

“Social media breaks are a big one for me. Not aimlessly scrolling for hours. Kind of monitoring my screen time when I can.”

She continued, “I think taking healthy breaks from it, knowing that everyone’s doing the exact same thing — you’re not missing out — there’s no FOMO [fear of missing out]. Everyone’s just posting them looking cute and it’s their highlight reel. I think keeping that in perspective and not comparing.”

Other guests for this year’s I’m Listening Broadcast include Ed SheeranAdele, Vice President Kamala HarrisLizzo, NFL star Dak PrescottCarrie UnderwoodCharlie Puth, and sportscaster Stephen A. Smith. Additionally, AFSP’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christine Moutier, will be joining Katie Neal, host of Audacy’s nationally syndicated Katie + Company, in studio for the event responding to listener questions and stories with real-time advice.
