According to data provided to USA Today by Sony Pictures Television in 2019, the best-selling products from "Shark Tank" reel in hundreds of millions of dollars.
Here are the most successful products to ever appear on "Shark Tank," including which shark invested and for how much.
Cousins Maine Lobster — Sales: $65 million
Shark: Barbara Corcoran
Offer/stake: $55,000/15%
Lobster is always a precious commodity, so it’s no surprise this seafood truck business did well, especially with Barbara Corcoran’s guiding hand after a season 4 episode.
Lovepop — Sales: $80 million
Shark: Kevin O'Leary
Offer/stake: $300,000/15%
According to CNBC, architects Wombi Rose and John Wise build their pop-up greeting cards the way you would build a ship. They also built a thriving business after a season 7 appearance on "Shark Tank" in 2015.
Sleep Styler — Sales: $100 million
Shark: Lori Greiner
Offer/stake: $75,000/25%
You’ll see Greiner’s name a lot on this list. She knows how to spot long-term success stories, like Sleep Styler, maker of heat-free hair rollers.
The Bouqs — Sales: $100 million
Shark: Robert Herjavec
Offer/stake: No offers (Herjavec invested later)
The digital flower boutique, The Bouqs, actually failed to attract a bid in its season 5 appearance, but Robert Herjavec made a deal to invest in the company three years later, after he needed flowers for his own wedding. The company’s success made for a nice wedding present all around.
Tipsy Elves — Sales: $125 million
Shark: Robert Herjavec
Offer/stake: $100,000/10%
You can win an ugly sweater contest in one of Tipsy Elves’s creations, but the company won a lot more than that, starting with a $100,000 investment from Herjavec on season 5 of "Shark Tank" and ending with $1.25 million in sales.
The Original Comfy — Sales: $150 million
Shark: Barbara Corcoran
Offer/stake: $50,000/30%
It’s a blanket. It’s a hoodie. And apparently it’s worth $150 million to customers in need of all-around coziness.
Simply Fit Boards — Sales: $160 million
Shark: Lori Greiner
Offer/stake: $125,000/20%
Success was immediate for Simply Fit Board. According to Gloria Hoffman, the maternal half of the mother-daughter duo who founded the balance workout equipment company, the day after their season 7 appearance and successful pitch to Greiner, the small operation brought in $1.25 million in sales.
Squatty Potty — Sales: $164 million
Shark: Lori Greiner
Offer/stake: $350,000/10%
We probably wouldn’t have predicted a product called Squatty Potty would go far before its season 6 appearance on Shark Tank, but the posture-correcting toilet helper has raked in over $1.5 million in sales. “I have proven a lot of people wrong, and it’s felt really good,” Squatty Potty CEO Bobby Edwards told CNBC. You got us there.
Scrub Daddy — Sales: $209 million
Shark: Lori Greiner
Offer/stake (on broadcast): $200,000/20%
It may only be the second most successful product in the show’s history, but Scrub Daddy might be the most famous thing to come out of "Shark Tank." Greiner was ahead of the rest when she invested in the face-shaped scrubbers in season 4.
Bombas — Sales: $225 million
Shark: Daymond John
Offer/stake (on broadcast): $200,000/17%
It seems like economic justice to see Bombas top the list of most profitable Shark Tank companies. For each super comfy pair of socks sold, co-founders David Heath and Randy Goldberg also donate a pair, helping provide precious socks to homeless shelters.
