We've got a wild matchup coming up on Saturday between the No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers and the No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The home game for the Badgers will be played in Notre Dame territory at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The Badgers are currently favored by 6.5 points as Graham Mertz and Paul Chryst will face off against a former teammate in Jack Coan, the transfer quarterback now with the Fighting Irish.
Notre Dame has had some close calls early in the season, beating a bad Florida State team in overtime and surviving at home against Toledo from the MAC conference.
After losing to Penn State to open up the season, Wisconsin is looking for a signature non-conference win to put on their resume. A bye week inbetween their win over Eastern Michigan and Saturday's battle certainly helps the Badgers. But, if they win, does it put the Badgers back in conversation for the College Football Playoff?
LeRoy Butler, Gary Ellerson, and Steve 'Sparky' Fifer give their thoughts on one of the biggest games on the Badgers' schedule and if anything changes for the trajectory of the season with a win. Listen to the full conversation that begins with a little high school football talk:
