During Chris Janson's sold out show at the Ryman Auditorium February 5, he received the honor of a life time. Keith Urban surprised the Nashville crowd to officially invite the "Drunk Girl" singer to be the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Prior to performing a Merle Haggard track and praising the genre, Janson yelled, "I can not believe I just got invited to be in the Grand Ole Opry." For this 31-year-old country star, it is the greatest achievement of his life to date.
Janson took to Twitter stating, "I am so grateful. I am so humbled. I will likely never sleep another day in my life. This is life changing." The official induction ceremony will take place March 20.
