Four-year-old Finn’s birthday party was right on target- literally. That’s because his favorite superstore hosted the festivities.

The Virginia boy was born with heart disease and has already had two open heart surgeries. While Finn was recovering, his family often brought him candy and treats from Target. So he has a special connection with the store. His favorite color is also red, and he loves the store mascot, a dog named bullseye.

When it came time to plan his upcoming birthday, Finn’s family had a Target-themed party in mind. What they didn’t expect was one Virginia location to actually volunteer to host the special event.

Staff made Finn an honorary employee and even gave him own name badge. They also sang "Happy Birthday" to him and presented the boy with a bag full of Target presents.

The family is so thankful Target was there to help celebrate this little boy’s big day.
