Seven-year-old Drake Walker, who has cancer, is making his dream of becoming a police officer a reality.

The son of a California cop was sworn in an as honorary officer for the Torrance Police Department, after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor over the summer.

In his new position, Drake pledged to always be kind to others, help those in need and try to do the right thing.

With that his dad, Jim, pinned on his new badge. Now Drake can begin to follow in father’s footsteps.
