The next time you board an Alaska Airlines flight, your seat partner may be a surprising one.
That’s because miniature horses are now allowed to board with passengers as service animals.
They assist those who are blind, deaf, have seizures, diabetes or other disorders.
Miniature horses still need to have proper training and documentation as service animals in order to trot down the plane aisle, according to the airline.
But they will make for a much more interesting ride up at 36,000 ft.
