These women only know each other from an online moms’ group. But when it was one of their children's birthdays, some flew across the country to California just to attend.
In a blog post on Love What Matters, Briean Vandeventer, from Texas, says she joined the “November ‘08 Due Date Club,” when she was pregnant. Travis was the first of the group’s babies to be born. But he was premature and delivered at 23 weeks in July.
Over the last decade the women have become each other’s best friends, even though some have never even met in person. But they have supported each other fiercely, through the good times and the bad.
They still can’t believe it’s all the internet to thank. And they’re looking forward to celebrating many more of their children’s birthdays together.
