A woman is lucky to be alive, after several good Samaritans rescued her from an overturned car in an Illinois pond. Police say the 26-year-old woman was going too fast around a curved exit ramp and flipped over into the water.

Drivers stopped and got out of their cars- rushing into the pond to free her unconscious body from the sinking car to get her out of the pond. Then they gave her CPR to revive her.

The woman is incredibly doing okay and has even had the opportunity to thank those who rescued her. State Police have honored the good Samaritans for their bravery and selflessness. And the woman’s parents are reportedly calling them “angels walking around on Earth.”
