This robotic toy may be just what the doctor ordered to help the more than 15,000 children every year, who are diagnosed with cancer, according to the American Cancer Society.

My Special Aflac Duck helps children communicate their feelings and cope with their illness.

Helping sick kids became a mission for Sproutel CEO Aaron Horowitz, after he was diagnosed with human-growth-hormone deficiency as a child.

"So we leveraged play and some of the latest technology to create healthcare tools for kids with illness," Horowitz says.

The goal is for these toys to become a friend to a child with cancer going through their treatment, he says.
