There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Mary Bourne and her father took to the dance floor for this incredible father-daughter wedding dance.
Mary Bourne’s father, Jim, is in a wheelchair and has glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer. He’s now in hospice care. But nothing would stop the two from sharing in this tradition.
The Alabama bride, who is a professional dance teacher, choreographed the emotional routine to Lee Ann Womack’s song “I Hope You Dance.”
Mary Bourne said the moves came very natural to them. They elegantly glided across the dance floor, Mary Bourne twirling in and out of her father’s arms. The special moment is sure to be one neither the bride or her father will soon forget.
