Aaron Rodgers is officially back with the Green Bay Packers, but the rumors and speculation about his future in the league remains ongoing. This season could very well be Rodgers' last wearing green and gold. All options are open.

And if the reigning MVP wants to move on from the Packers next offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders would probably entertain the idea of trading for him, according to franchise legend and Hall of Fame receiver Tim Brown.

"I'm sure [head coach Jon] Gruden would stay up at night trying to figure out how to get that done," Brown told The Zach Gelb Show on Tuesday. "But the problem is, you're looking at one year, maybe two years. I know Brady is 43, so maybe there's some wild thoughts of guys playing that long now at the quarterback position. And with the guns that Aaron has, he can certainly do it.

"But realistically, it's short-term deal. If Aaron would commit to four years or a five-year deal and say he's going to play, that may be interesting to see what they would do. But at the same time, I think they have to be so careful about these kinds of conversations. Because you don't want [Raiders quarterback] Derek Carr thinking that he has somebody looking over his shoulder."

Last season, Rodgers completed a career-high 70.7-percent of his passes for 4,299 yards with 48 touchdowns and five interceptions. The 37-year-old also set three NFL records -- including the most games (10) with a passer rating over 120.0 in a season -- and led Green Bay to an NFC title game appearance.

As for the Raiders under Gruden's watch, they've gone 19-29 across the last three seasons with second-, third-, and fourth-place finishes in the AFC West. Although their 2020 offense ranked top-10 in yards (383.3) and points (27.1) per game, their defense ranked 30th in average points allowed (29.9) and 25th in average yards (389.1).

The Raiders will open the 2021 season at home against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, Sept. 13. Since representing the AFC in Super Bowl 37, Las Vegas has reached the playoffs just once, and finished with a losing record in 14 of 18 seasons.
