Las Vegas to land lacrosse team in NLL

Add another professional sports team to the Las Vegas metro area.

The National Lacrosse League announced Wednesday that it will place the NLL's 15th franchise in Las Vegas in the 2022-2023 season.

Billionaire Joe Tsai, also owns the NLL's San Diego franchise and the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, would hold Las Vegas as his second organization within the NLL.

The NLL was founded in 1987. The season normally runs from December to June.
