Cardi B is transforming into Sharki B! The “I Like It” rapper will make an upcoming cameo on Nickelodeon’s Baby Shark’s Big Show!

The major announcement was made during Nickelodeon’s Upfront Presentation on Thursday (March 23). Interestingly, Cardi is quite fond of the animated preschool series. The rapper flawlessly ripped the runway to the popular “Baby Shark” song in 2019. And she once mentioned that her daughter Kulture loved the Baby Shark mixtape.
Cardi’s forthcoming guest appearance will also be a family affair. Her husband Offset will be voicing Offshark and their 3-year-old daughter will star as Kulture Shark. According to Billboard, Cardi B’s character Sharki B is the “the biggest star in the seven seas” and will perform her hit dance craze “The Seaweed Sway” during the show.
Ahead of the episode, “The Seaweed Sway” will be included on the compilation album Sing, Dance & Sway the Nick Jr. Way, out on streaming platforms April 8. Reportedly, season 2 of the Baby Shark’s Big Show! is set to debut later this year, and a Baby Shark movie is scheduled to release 2023.
The special Baby Shark’s Big Show! episode featuring Cardi B and family airs April 15 at 12PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
