Kelsea Ballerini joined RADIO.COM's Coop on the Rockin' Country Saturday Night show this week and the pair definitely put a "hole in the bottle!"

Kelsea is still riding high on the success of her 2020 hit "hole in the bottle," especially with a total of three, yes three versions to choose from. The song originated, as Kelsea puts it, after a night of drinking with some of her songwriter friends. "It was literally us, getting a little wine-drunk and kind of jokingly writing this song," she tells Coop. Now, she's got a new version of the track with the inclusion of Country icon Shania Twain.

Prior to quarantine, Kelsea says Shania reached out asking if she would like to work on a project... "I was like, 'ah ha ha... duh!'" Kelsea admits when she got that call. After sharing ideas over voice notes, Kelsea realized she should just ask Shania to be a part of her current hit, the video for which tips a hat to the singer anyway.

"The funnier part about it is, I've actually gotten a chance to have a couple of glasses of wine with Shania before," Kelsea says. "A lot of it made sense, so I just asked her." It's a good thing she did, the track is now seeing a new resurgence not even a full year after the original release.

After going over a few more tracks from Kelsea's 2020 release kelsea, the singer told a funny story about her recent move with husband Morgan Evans from the couple's condo to their first official house in the 'burbs. Unfortunately in the move, they were forced to abandon their famous autograph wall that had collected some serious signatures over the years.

"The first person to sign it was Ed Sheeran," Kelsea says with a bit of a smirk. She explains getting together for dinner with her hubbie Morgan along with Ed, Luke Combs, and his future wife Nicole Hocking. After a few drinks, Kelsea remembered she had to return home to take her dog for a walk. While she was out, the shots continued and Ed decided to just sign Kelsea's wall.

"I don't know... then Luke signed the wall and it just became a thing," she says, "so anyone that came over would sign this wall or write a little message. It was like our wall of fame and then we moved so we had to paint over it. It was a sad day."

Just discussing the story made Kelsea realize that the new home is missing a new version. "I loved having it," she says. "It was a fun thing for people to come sign but also I just loved having it for memories. So yes, I'm gonna start it now."
