She took to Instagram to share some stunning photos in a green bikini in hopes of raising awareness for the annual environmentally-friendly event.

In addition to her earthly two-piece, the 45-year-old accessorized the look with some gold jewelry pieces from her brand Aurate, including oversized hoop earrings, rings, a sparkly chain, and matching bracelets.

“Going green for #EarthDay! 💚," she captioned the photos.

A positive message accompanied the photos as Washington added: "Buy some sustainable jewelry and help save the 🌱🌎!!!"

She noted that for a limited time, Aurate was donating a percentage “of proceeds to the Rainforest Alliance to help protect nature and improve the lives of farmers and forest communities."

Washington also tapped into her natural beauty by embracing a virtually makeup free look.

Fans couldn’t help but launch a series of compliments in the comment section which ranged from “Goddess” to “gorgeous.” Some even stayed on theme and wished her a “Happy Earth Day.”

PEOPLE notes that the “Little Fires Everywhere” star invested in the female-founded brand in 2020.

"I like working in an element of fashion that feels more filled with our heart-centered connections with each other. And it's why it was so important to me that the collection had embodied themes that were really important to women. This is really a brand that's by women, for women.” And so, I wanted to do something that really felt inspiring, uplifting and provocative,” she told the outlet.
