The Kardashian family has amassed fame and fortune over years, and for its matriarch, it’s sometimes too much.
On a recent episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kris Jenner discussed how big her family has become.
“We’ve built this amazing life for ourselves, and sometimes, I feel like it can be a curse,” the entrepreneur divulged.
"Sometimes, I feel like I've helped build something that can also be a burden. The haters... they're so brutal sometimes and I feel bad that I've brought this element, you know, to our lives," she continued. "And it's hard. It's a struggle."
Jenner has incredibly successful children, monetarily, two even being billionaires, but on the episode she told Kim Kardashian she wonders if the lives she gave her kids amounts to more than they can handle.
“It weighs heavy on my heart a lot,” she told her daughter. “Sometimes I just feel guilty about the other side of the coin. That we’ve created this life, not only a big responsibility, but it also can be very negative.”
“I think that this life that we live, as beautiful as it is, we get blamed for everything. Everything is our fault,” she continued.
In the show’s timeline it appears this conversation happened after Kim’s ex Kanye West took Jenner’s parenting to task in the media, according to Yahoo.
"You live in this guilt thinking, like, I wish I didn't help all my kids get famous. You just can't live like that," Kim told her mother. "We wanted this and you just helped us fulfill our dreams and, like, what our potential was."
“The Kardashians” airs Thursdays on Hulu.
