McCoy. Benson. Stabler. With these powers combined, crime doesn’t stand a chance.

For the uninitiated that’s DA Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) of the flagship “Law & Order” franchise, Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) of the long-running “SVU” franchise, and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) once of “SVU” now of “Law & Order” universe newcomer “Organized Crime.”

On September 22, from 8-11 p.m. EST, NBC will be bringing together all three of the currently airing “Law & Order” series to tackle one big case.
According to Today, A girl is shot and detectives from “Law & Order” get the case. It turns into a much larger one than originally thought, involving an international crime ring, which necessitates the involvement of Captain Benson and Detective Stabler. DA McCoy then comes in to try the case.
In a statement, creator of the juggernaut franchise Dick Wolf said, “Nothing demonstrates the power of the ‘Law & Order’ brand more than an ambitious three-hour event with a story that is truly ripped from the headlines that starts on ‘Organized Crime,’ then migrates to ‘SVU’ and finally the trial on ‘Law & Order.’"
Wolf is also the creator of the long-running and wildly successful slate of “Chicago” related shows on NBC (“Fire,” “Med,” and “PD”). The “Chicago” shows have crossed over with Wolf’s “Law & Order” series in the past.
The big “Law & Order” crossover event will air Thursday, September 22 from 8-11 p.m. EST on NBC and stream on Peacock the following day.
