Sharing a throwback photo of himself and his late father (who passed away in October of 2020 from throat cancer at the age of 65), Wolfgang tugged on fans' heartstrings while being open about his constant struggle with the loss of his dad.

In the caption, Wolfgang shares: "I wish you were here so I could give you a big hug, go to dinner, celebrate it with you and make a dumb joke about it being your 69th birthday. Just regular s***. I miss hearing you laugh. I miss laughing with you. It’s the little things."

He ends the post by saying, "I’ll do my best to keep a smile on my face and think of you today. But then again, that’s not very different than any other day so far without you. I love and miss you more than you could ever possibly know. Happy Birthday, Pop," adding a heart emoji as punctuation which were echoed in the comments section by famed guitarist John 5 and drummer Alex Van Halen.

Countless fans also joined in the chorus in the comments section, sharing their own struggles with the loss of loved ones and offering words of encouragement to Wolfie for making his father proud.
