Alice Cooper is a pioneer of shock-rock, blending horror, vaudeville, and rock to create theatrical performances featuring electric chairs, guillotines, and other shocking props. His career has spanned decades, from his early work with the Alice Cooper band in the 1970s to his solo success, continuing to release albums and tour globally.
Cooper's influence extends to film, television, and radio, including his role in the NBC production of Jesus Christ Superstar and his popular radio show Nights With Alice Cooper. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 and remains a key figure in rock music.
