Samuel Adams proudly supports the military community through a number of programs, hiring initiatives, business coaching, events, and discounts. This year, the company partnered with the U.S. Army's Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS). They also worked to provide guaranteed interviews for soldiers and ROTC cadets.
Samuel Adams also continues to support veterans who aspire to enter the food and beverage industry with its program "Brewing the American Dream" in partnership with StreetShares Foundation. Brewing the American Dream helps entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry grow a business by providing access to business advice, capital, and expert resources. Participation in Brewing the American Dream includes speed coaching, experienceship, pitch room competitions, loans, and ad hoc mentoring. Samuel Adams also partners with StreetShares Foundation to provide ebooks, templates, guides, and other educational content to any veteran looking to start up a business. Through this partnership, Brewing the American Dream has reached hundreds of veterans and active military entrepreneurs.
And, as always, Samuel Adams offers military discounts and specialty tours at its local breweries — they even host re-enlistment ceremonies.
"Samuel Adams has a long history of supporting our veteran and military community and we feel it is the least we can do to give back to those who sacrificed for us," said Samuel Adams spokesperson Jennifer Glanville. "The variety of events and initiatives help to raise awareness and support the increasing number of veteran-owned small businesses."
