For the Lynyrd Skynyrd Tickets on-air contest, listen to 96.9 The Eagle each weekday morning starting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 and ending on Friday, September 25, 2026 between 6:00AM (PT) and 10:00AM (PT) during the College of Rock Knowledge segment for the cue to call. Upon hearing the cue to call, call the 96.9 The Eagle Studio Line at 916-909-0969. Caller number Nine (9) will have the opportunity to guess the song title and artist. If the caller answers incorrectly, the station talent will move on to the next caller until a caller correctly identifies the song title and artist. The caller who correctly identifies both the song title and artist will be selected as the winner, subject to verification of eligibility. There will be up to Four (4) winners in this contest, and upon verification of eligibility, each will receive Two (2) tickets to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foghat at Ironstone Amphitheatre on Friday, October 2, 2026, valued at $80.00 per pair, courtesy of Richter Entertainment Group. Any one (1) individual may only be a verified Winner and receive one (1) prize one (1) time in this Contest.
Must be 18 years of age or older and a legal/permanent resident of the state of California during the duration of this contest. If winner does not complete all necessary information needed for fulfillment, the prize will be forfeited after 30 days from receiving the verification email. All winner fulfillment paperwork must be completed during business hours; Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 9:00am - 5:30pm (PST) and/or 24 hours prior to event date in order for prize to be distributed.
Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address. THE PRIZE(S) IN THIS CONTEST CANNOT BE REDEEMED OR USED BY ANY MEANS OTHER THAN THE DESIGNATED THIRD-PARTY MOBILE TICKETING APP FOR THIS PRIZE. All cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Station and its sponsors.
