After getting the OK from the families to use Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.’s likeness, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre featured the jazz icons in a new advertisement for their Still G.I.N. commercial stunning not only fans but those closest to the late stars as well.
"To see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside my dad and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a revolutionary way is both thrilling and surreal," said the daughter of Frank, Tina Sinatra. "It's a celebration of timeless artistry, breaking barriers and the enduring legacy of collaboration across generations."
The commercial features Davis Jr. and Sinatra as they stand at a bar, spotting Dr. Dre and Snoop from across the crowd. After finding out the pair are the “new gangsters in town,” the two introduce themselves and share a conversation over Dre and Snoop’s Still G.I.N. product, which launched in February.
"Still G.I.N. for everybody!" Sinatra announced to the bar in the ad that aired during the season 26 finale of The Voice. Watch it below.
