Two and a half hours away from Sacramento, hidden in the Stanislaus National Forest, is an enchanting barn with an ice rink inside. You can even stay the night there.

Even if this is your first time hearing about it, Long Barn Lodge's ice rink has been a staple in the community for a long time. Now under new ownership and management, visitors can continue (or begin) their tradition of skating at the lodge.

Now through mid-March, guests can gain entry with skate rentals for $15 seven days a week. You can even book a private group rental for events like family reunions, weddings, bachelorette parties, and more!

I learned about this place last season and didn't get a chance to go, but I'm excited to make it out sometime this season. I'm especially excited about the renovations that the new owners have done, because the hotel and cabins look so adorable.
