Amon Carter Museum: 60th Birthday Bash
Amon Carter Museum is celebrating their 60th year with a free outdoor event featuring: make-your-own party favors with Carter Community Artists, talks and tours in the galleries, VIP Carter member experiences, and food trucks, beer, and wine (available for purchase). Blake Shelton in Concert

Cake Ladies at Dallas Theater Center
This world premiere comedy, from playwright-in-residence Jonathan Norton (penny candy), was written specifically to welcome audiences back to the theater. Classic Movie Screenings at The Palace Theatre in Grapevine

Dallas Arboretum: Autumn at the Arboretum

Garland Guzzler: 0.5 Race
That's right, you couch potato, sofa spud, barely 15 years removed from your prime athletes, dust off those running or walking shoes and register for the race today! George W. Bush Presidential Center: Out of Many, One
While permanent exhibits at the George W. Bush Presidential Center (like the Oval Office, etc) are closed due to COVID right now... an exhibit called, "Out of Many, One: Portraits of America's Immigrants" is available. The exhibit includes 43 portraits painted by George W. Bush, statistics about immigration and policy recommendations. Out of Many, One includes paintings of celebrities like Dirk Nowitzki, Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright and lesser known immigrants who may know the former president personally. Included with the paintings are stories about how each person adjusted to life in America.

If/Then She Can Exhibit at Northpark Centre
The exhibit, sponsored by Lyda Hill Philanthropies, stands outside Northpark Centre in the CenterPark Garden. It’s a monumental exhibit of the most women statues ever assembled in one location. This first-of-its-kind, life-sized statue exhibit of more than 120 Ambassadors hailing from more than 40 states is free to the public. All these women are in STEM careers. Visitors can scan a QR code to learn about each one of the unique contributors. The exhibit is sure to be inspirational to young women and men alike.

Immersive Van Gogh
The highly-anticipated Immersive Van Gogh experience opens this weekend. It’s 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating Vincent van Gogh’s oeuvre. Wander through entrancing, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color – truly illuminating the mind of the genius.
You will be immersed in Van Gogh’s works – from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still life paintings. The installation includes the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889), and so much more.

Romeo and Juliet: Shakespeare Dallas
I’m not sure if you’ve heard of this show before, but it’s kind of a big deal. It’s a tragedy (spoiler alert) written by Shakespeare early in his career about two star-crossed lovers whose deaths (again...spoiler alert) ultimately reconcile their feuding families. This particular version is told 80’s style. Shakespeare Dallas allows audiences to pack a picnic (including beer and wine for those 21+) and encourages guests to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We also have sand chairs available for rent at the Shoppe.

The Stockyards Championship Rodeo
Grab your boots and Cowboy hat! This rodeo is back! The live and kicking rodeo is every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. (Friday...it’s “Free Kid Friday”...buy an adult ticket and get a kid’s ticket free!) It's in the Cowtown Coliseum. Zip Line Day: Heard Natural Science Museum
It’s an exciting outdoor adventure at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary's Ropes Course!
