Elon Musk’s wealth surge really took place over this past year, which marks the fastest rise to the top of the list in history. For reference, Elon Musk started 2020 being worth about $27 billion, and was barely in the top 50 richest people. Elon Musk has gained more wealth over the past 12 months than Bill Gates’ entire net worth of $132 billion!

Following a brain aneurysm and then an attempted burglary of his home, he now has agreed to pay his estranged wife $2 million in temporary spousal support. The money will be used to cover her living expenses. Dr. Dre's estranged wife described him as a control freak who “forced” her to sign a prenup on their wedding day “under extreme duress.”
