Looks like Nyquil chicken is the latest food trend going viral on TikTok. What is it? Well, it’s simply chicken cooked in Nyquil, NBC New York reports.
The FDA says cooking chicken in the cold medicine is a no-no.
Of course, it’s possible to cook chicken in any liquid, including medicine, but the FDA says that it is dangerous, and the outcome could be even worse.
"Boiling a medication can make it much more concentrated and change its properties in other ways. Even if you don’t eat the chicken, inhaling the medication’s vapors while cooking could cause high levels of the drugs to enter your body. It could also hurt your lungs," the FDA said in a warning.
