Man sparks gasoline fire to remove snow from yard

Some guy from New Jersey, who wants to remain anonymous, decided to pour gasoline all over his lawn so he could light it on fire and get rid of the ice and snow.

After spending hours doing everything he could to get rid of the snow, he realized that normal methods wouldn't work. That's when he went for the gasoline.

Police say that the gasoline was poured all over his yard and set on fire. A neighbor called police shortly after because they smelt something burning. Once authorities arrived on scene, they had to call out the hazmat team to soak up the hazardous gas.

“I don’t recall ever being dispatched to something like that. It’s not very common, let’s put it that way.” Lieutenant John Gibbons told NJ.com
