A new study just released showed that a large amount of young Americans have never seen a cow in person.
Parked in Paradise, an RV travel site, released their results. They asked 3,500 Americans between 11 and 24 years old about their travel experiences.
The study showed that 42% of people have never left the country, and 15% said they had never been out of the state they were born in. 88% of participants said they would love to travel more if they had the opportunity.
This is where we get to the whole cow thing... 33% of participants said that they had never seen a cow in person.
During this high-stress year, cow-hugging has actually become a way to reduce stress. Apparently hugging cows is able to reduce stress in humans by releasing oxytocin. The cow hugging trend is said to have started in the Netherlands.
